Almost all vehicle ECUs (Electronic Control Units) today are networked by CAN protocol. The Vehicle diagnostic Display instrument developed by TriozTech compatible with J1939 standard CAN network. This gives the advantage of its usability on most vehicles.

The instrument has 2 swithces to browse though available parameters. The parameter and its value is displayed on alphanumeric LCD or on a graphical LCD. The error messages and limitation warnings are indicated with the help of 2 LEDs. Since the unit complies J1939 standard, could be used on any J1939 compliant CAN network, and could be programmed to display required parameters with required format.
